Monday's Findings

Well what a morning! When momma came outside she was met with this...

Me and Brother were already out in the yard when she looked up and she started gagging. BOL We had caught a squirrel. Ok It was already "gone" when we found it but still it was a ton of fun! If you bigify this picture you can see some of its furs in my mouth.

Brother don't be too rough your going to rip its tail right in half and I wanted to play with it!

Well moments after the last picture was taken momma got a BIG OL' bag and scooped up all the little pieces and threw it in the garbage. Can you believe that?

Super Scootering Weekend

We woke up Saturday morning and were met with beautiful blue skies and temps in the upper 40's. By the afternoon the sun was shining down on our area and the temps got into the mid 50's!

Momma are you thinking what I am thinking? OH boy she was! We pulled the scooters out and went SCOOTERING!!! Been months since we had a good long walk.

For the momentous occasion I wore my Jelly Belly Jelly Bean Tag that I got for Christmas 2010....

...Uncle Puppy wore his fashionable head collar...

...and Lilac joined us for her first ever scooter ride. She took the basket seat!

We took out! Even my shadow came with us on this most wonderful walk.

Brownie and Midnight were out sunbathing when we trotted by.

Lilac took a fancy to the big horses. Brownie posed so nice with Lilac.

Midnight thought she smelled oh so nice. She has her own special lilac perfume.

Would ya look at this Donky?!?! Practicing for Mango Minster 2012.

The Donkeys were thrilled we had come to see them.

These two told Uncle Puppy they missed hearing his tAlL tAiLs and asked if he had any to tell.

~~!!~~!!~~Fading in Uncle Puppy~!!~~!!~~
Let me try to get this stupid thing off my nose so I can speak.

WHATEVER! Ok Donkeys young and old I shall tell you 'bouts a most cRaCkEr doggie named...Uncle Puppy. This young most handsome Cockapoo nominated himself to enter the bestest ever competition in all of Blogville called Mango Minster. He told all of Blogville about his CrAcKeR-ness and even had pictures to accompany his story.

Like how he makes him self all miniature and hides in the grass then springs out to go all CrAcKeR on the poodles he shares his home with. Like this:

~~!!~~!!~~Fading crazy Uncle Puppy out~~!!~~!!~~

Oh those Donkeys had such a great time listening to his tails!

After visiting the the Donkey's I was quite tired and got in my scootering basket.

In some sad news Huskawawa's full figured Mastiff brother is gone. We did notice that the Mastiff's electric fence collar was now being worn by the Huskawawa and his yard now has flags around the parameter. He still gave us a good barking and...

...Huskawawa has a new fur-sibling too.

Alright Lilac its time to head home!

Monday Movie

Last night we were just sitting in the 'cliner with momma when all of a sudden she starts a screamin' and saying "they got the video up...they got the video up!" When we realized what she was talking about we were all excited too.

The St. Louis Pet Expo staff put up the video of the small dog costume competition. They edited out my first twirl (GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR) but they did get video of the "clap" vote and my final spin to get my gift. You can see Bobo when I go up in the far left portion of the video. BOL

Sewing Sunday

Momma has decided it's time to start sewing again. Once we got all the sewing stuff relocated from the storage room to the living room (where it will live for now) momma decided to get the embroidery machine out too. Since last October the machine has been acting up and making a mess of the bags. So she just put the embroidery machine away, thats part of the reason she quit sewing for a lil bit.

Anyhoo we got Lilac on the job and she got it fixed. She said that we wore down the needle by doing so many heavy fabrics such as the canvas bags. We will still do the bags but just a lil different in the future.

Once all that was worked out grandma began cutting the fabric....

...and momma ran the embroidery machine. This yellow square with our blog name is going into a furry special quilt.

When all the squares were cut out and the embroidery was finished momma began sewing the squares into strips according to the pattern grandma made.

Sewing the strips together.....

....and the finished quilt top. Its our Valentines day quilt! We each have our name in a square, the date and the name of our blog.

One project I did with momma was making me a new rabies tag holder in PINK! Plus we got all the nylon cut and the hardware out for a pink and white collar.

OH MY DOG! Next we cut out some fabric to make some sewing collars.

Last but certainly not least here are a few squares for my new quilt. Gotta find some solid fabric to go with it before we can get it sewed up.

We don't have any pictures but momma also learned how to hem pants. So she is all excited 'bout that!

I love it when momma sews stuff for us. We love it all!

Mollie Jo, Bobo & Lilac
