The Final Goodbye

Please don't panic we are not going anywhere but grandma's car Allie the 97 Nissian Altima has left us. Last week we had to take her to the car vet for a checkup as she was stalling out on grandma.

The doctor said it looks like just the sensor was going out but it could be the transmission going out. We had the option of putting a new sensor in for $250 and that possibly fixinf it. If not it would be another $2,000 to replace the transmission. So we decided to let her go into retirement with a car dealer from Paducah, KY who can fix her up and find her a good home.

So grandma had to go get all her stuff out of Allie's trunk. She said it was furry sad to let her go. She has been with our family for 5 years.

Look at the dollar bills the car vet gave us as an adoption fee for Allie! This will buy lots of dresses, kibbles, and treats!

When you have cash you know what that means....You gotta put it in the bank. And you know what a trip to the bank leads to...

...Dog Bones!

HEY...Can I get one of those Mollie?

Since momma is a full time student/blogger/puppy wrangler/dog groomer grandma is just going to take her car for now and not get a new one. So the only mode of transportation we will have when grandma is at work is the scooter. BOL

Wags and Licks,
Mollie Jo

  1. Too bad the car vet didn't have better news, but we think your Grandma made the right decision. We think you all like riding around in that scooter.

  2. Oh that stinks that Allie broke but we bet they will fix her up and find her a good home. And then eventually you move on and you will get to meet a new car that you like and want to take home. It is good that your mom can let your grandma use her car for now - that must make things easier for sure!

  3. Oh, phew! I thought we'd been gone so long that it was you guys that were riding off into the sunset, not the car! Glad to see you are here to stay! Gotta love those drive-thru tellers!

  5. We were worried! The internet in the House With Wheels isn't the best, and we couldn't access your page for a while! Mom and Dad are basically a one car family, too (the race car and the House With Wheels aren't exactly practical cars for running errands!) and they manage just fine!

  9. Trannys are so expensive. That's what our mom says! We think the scooter is a much more cool means of transportation anyway!
We get cookies at our bank too!

    Love ya lots,
