Country life: Dropping off your animals

Living in the country has it ups and downs....One of the downs is how people feel that its ok to dump cats, kittens, dogs and puppies off and "hope" they find a good life with one of the locals. These stray animals are forced to run from house to house trying to get their next meal. They are also a bother to the current animal residents and sometimes pick fights over food, mates, or space.

At a shelter the animal doesn't have to fight for space or food and has a chance of getting adopted or pulled by a rescue.

If you have an animal who you can no longer keep please either try and place it with a new family or take it to a shelter/rescue who has the resources to house, feed, and rehome the animal.
